Welcome to Kempt. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kempt application, website, and related services (the "Service") provided by Kempt Labs Co. ("Kempt", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

THE SERVICE

Kempt helps homeowners organize and maintain their homes, including cataloguing home systems and appliances, generating preventative maintenance plans, keeping a service history, and, where you choose to enable them, importing service records from connected accounts such as your email. Features may change over time.

YOUR ACCOUNT

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

CONNECTED ACCOUNTS

You may choose to connect third-party accounts, such as Google Gmail (for finding home-service invoices) or a financial account via Plaid. You authorize us to access those accounts only as needed to provide the features you enable, and you can disconnect them at any time. Our handling of data from connected accounts is described in our Privacy Policy, including the Google User Data and Limited Use section.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it in an unauthorized way, interfering with its operation, uploading unlawful content, or using it to violate the rights of others.

YOUR CONTENT

You retain ownership of the content and information you provide to the Service, such as inspection reports and service records. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

DISCLAIMERS

The Service provides organizational and informational tools and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or home-inspection advice. Home value estimates and maintenance recommendations are informational only. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kempt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

CHANGES AND TERMINATION

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when we do. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
